After rolling it into production, I immediately saw a 27% decrease in bandwidth usage...or about an entire T1 worth of data.  Planet Source Code actually has a lot more compressed .zip files than most sites do (which of course can't be further compressed by PipeBoost), so most sites should see an even larger decrease in bandwidth.

Just wanted to tell you how pleased and grateful I am that’s you’ve installed PipeBoost on your server. The change was immediately noticeable and for me at least, a solid 85% increase in page retrieval speed from your site.

I live in Greece and am connected to my ISP via ISDN. My ISP in turn is connected to the US via satellite (4mbs). Prior to your upgrade, page retrieval took an average of 20 seconds before the page was viewable (with graphics still downloading), which was extremely frustrating. With PipeBoost, pages are now viewable within 3 seconds (with graphics still downloading) an incredible increase in speed!
